Entering my Soul

The scripture below hit a cord in me, as I wonder what I am going to do with God today.  See God enters our soul, penetrating our very existence when we are open.  So often we are a closed book because it takes a lot of courage to  receive the work God has envisioned for us.   And we find ourselves struggling within because we are fighting God on what he has in mind.  We tend to be frightened or timid or insecure about our decisions.  Know that one needs to have confidence and trust to discern and reflect on God in order to render his works.  Let us find a way for God to enter our Soul’s, to let Him in and move us in the direction we are intended to go.  Let us find a way to be vulnerable and open so we can receive the vision in our lives.  Let us be patient so God can lead us in his time and not ours.  Let God enter your Soul so we can all be one in building the kingdom God intended for us to have on this earth.

Reading 1 Heb 4:12-16

The word of God is living and effective,
sharper than any two-edged sword,
penetrating even between soul and spirit,
joints and marrow,
and able to discern reflections and thoughts of the heart.
No creature is concealed from him,
but everything is naked and exposed to the eyes of him
to whom we must render an account.

Since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens,
Jesus, the Son of God,
let us hold fast to our confession.
For we do not have a high priest
who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses,
but one who has similarly been tested in every way,
yet without sin.
So let us confidently approach the throne of grace
to receive mercy and to find grace for timely help.
